PROJECT OVERVIEW

Brooklands Park’s regeneration connects planted glades, play spaces and a community garden through a renewed network of paths. Blakedown Landscapes delivered the work for Adur & Worthing Councils to Turkington Martin’s design.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Follow the park’s sweeping path layout, retain the surfacing at its edges and form a neat boundary where paths meet grass and planting.

THE SOLUTION

CORE supplied 260 linear metres of 100mm CORE PRO EDGE. Set out before the final surfacing, the aluminium edging follows the bends, curves and junctions and retains the path build-up against the surrounding ground.

Installation views show how these edges carry the design’s flowing lines through the park.
