A white nonwoven geotextile roll representing CORE MultiTrack 700.

Cover more ground with a full roll.

A lightweight full-roll nonwoven geotextile for routine separation and filtration in groundworks, roads, parking, drainage and landscape construction.

The entry full-roll nonwoven option in this CORE range, combining high water permeability with a practical 4.5 m wide roll for larger areas.

  • Separation between soil and granular layers
  • Filtration within compatible drainage build-ups
  • High normal-to-plane water flow
  • Full-roll coverage for larger sites

MD means machine direction, along the roll. CMD means cross-machine direction, across the roll. Values describe the material; they are not a vehicle load rating.

  • Soakaways and sustainable drainage
  • Landscape drainage and separation

Choosing for your project.

  • Choose a nonwoven grade around filtration, puncture and installation-damage requirements, not mass alone.
  • This product is not presented as a woven basal-reinforcement geotextile.

Installation guidance.

Prepare the ground, maintain continuity and protect the material during construction. Follow the approved project detail for overlaps, cover and compaction.

Open the geosynthetics guide
  1. Prepare the groundRemove sharp obstructions and level deep ruts or voids so the fabric is supported.
  2. Lay and overlapRoll out to follow the ground contours without bridging hollows. Maintain the overlaps required by the project detail.
  3. Place the coverSpread the specified fill from the edge or an already covered area. Keep vehicles off exposed fabric.
  4. Inspect and protectCheck continuity and repair damage before covering. Cover promptly and follow the installation guide for the required cover and compaction.

Product questions.

What is MultiTrack 700 mainly used for?

It is a general full-roll nonwoven for separation and filtration in groundworks, drainage, roads, car parks and landscape construction.

How does it compare with MultiTrack 1000?

MT700 has lower declared tensile and puncture values. MT1000 is the more robust general-purpose grade, while MT700 is the economical full-roll option for less demanding interfaces.

Is the 450 m² figure an installed coverage?

No. It is the nominal roll area calculated from 4.5 m x 100 m. Allow for overlaps, cuts, waste and site geometry when calculating quantities.

Is nominal roll area the installed coverage?

No. Allow for overlaps, cuts and the shape of the area. The roll table gives the full roll area before those allowances.
