PROJECT OVERVIEW:

A stay at The Reserve puts wildlife at the heart of the experience. Chester Zoo’s 51 safari-style lodges sit beside a lake and savannah habitat, linked by landscaped routes. The scheme creates a place to explore, unwind and stay overnight, supporting the zoo’s conservation work.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Create neat, lasting boundaries through a varied lodge landscape, with edging suited to both straight lines and curves and different surface depths.

THE SOLUTION:

CORE PRO EDGE gave the landscape team a practical way to define surface boundaries while following the design’s lines and curves.

The 18mm and 100mm profiles, supplied with galvanised fixing pins, offered options across the works. Discreet edges bring a neat finish to the paths and planting, keeping the focus on the setting.
