PROJECT OVERVIEW

Ten 1,200mm Corten CORE PLANTERS bring planting to Stamford Square in Altrincham, with the flexibility to make room for outdoor dining, events and changing access needs. MS Contracts Management installed the planters as part of the square’s regeneration for Bruntwood and Trafford Council.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

The square needed robust planters that could soften the paving and shape seating areas, while allowing space for events and access. Each planter also needed to stay securely in place once positioned.

THE SOLUTION

Each planter has five lockable castors. The team can move the planting when the layout changes, then secure each unit in position. The Corten finish complements the timber seating and connects planted areas across the paved square.
