Salford · DATUM EDGE & PLANTERS
Riverside courtyard
Corten edging and movable planters for a renewed workplace landscape.
Water play, sports courts, coastal planting and seating come together at Littlehampton’s West Green. The renewed public space needed robust boundaries between its contrasting landscape surfaces.
The edging had to follow straight runs and curves, restrain adjoining surfaces and accommodate the required levels.
CORE supplied Decorative Concrete Specialists for the Arun District Council regeneration project, with Neilcott Construction as main contractor.

The project used 200 linear metres of 150 mm CORE DATUM EDGE in 3 mm galvanised steel, defining the divisions between the light sand, blue and yellow surfaces.
The DatumLock height adjustment system supports accurate positioning during installation, helping maintain a consistent line through the landscape.

The finished scheme brings the coloured surfaces together within a flowing seafront layout. Galvanised CORE DATUM EDGE defines the boundaries through its straight and curved sections.
The aerial view shows how those divisions follow the wider landscape design around the water play area, planting and routes.
