CORE TerraTrack Pro.

High-performance nonwoven protection and filtration geotextile

View technical specification
A white superior nonwoven geotextile roll representing CORE TerraTrack Pro.

Protection for demanding interfaces.

A 300 g/m² superior nonwoven geotextile for demanding separation, filtration and protection duties. Its high puncture resistance and fine characteristic opening size support robust ground and membrane interfaces.

The highest-puncture-resistance nonwoven grade in this CORE selection, intended where a more robust protection or filtration layer is needed.

  • Robust separation between dissimilar layers
  • Filtration with a fine characteristic opening size
  • Protection of compatible membranes and interfaces
  • Drainage and permeable-paving support where specified

MD means machine direction, along the roll. CMD means cross-machine direction, across the roll. Values describe the material; they are not a vehicle load rating.

Roll sizes.

Use the nominal area to plan your order, then allow for overlaps, cutting and site geometry.

Where it works.

  • Membrane and attenuation-tank protection
  • Permeable paving and drainage build-ups
  • Erosion-control and heavy-duty landscape interfaces
  • Ground-engineering separation and filtration

Choosing for your project.

  • Confirm the substrate, cover, stone size and installation-damage risk before relying on the protection function.
  • It is a permeable geotextile, not an impermeable membrane or certified root barrier.

Installation guidance.

Prepare the ground, maintain continuity and protect the material during construction. Follow the approved project detail for overlaps, cover and compaction.

Open the geosynthetics guide
  1. Prepare the groundRemove sharp obstructions and level deep ruts or voids so the fabric is supported.
  2. Lay and overlapRoll out to follow the ground contours without bridging hollows. Maintain the overlaps required by the project detail.
  3. Place the coverSpread the specified fill from the edge or an already covered area. Keep vehicles off exposed fabric.
  4. Inspect and protectCheck continuity and repair damage before covering. Cover promptly and follow the installation guide for the required cover and compaction.

Product questions.

What is the main difference between TerraTrack Pro and the standard nonwovens?

TerraTrack Pro has the highest declared CBR puncture resistance and the smallest characteristic opening size of these six CORE-supplied grades. That makes it the first comparison point for demanding protection and filtration duties.

Can it protect an impermeable membrane?

It can provide a protection layer where the membrane supplier and project design accept the build-up. Confirm the membrane, substrate, cover and construction-damage risk rather than relying on product mass alone.

Is TerraTrack Pro waterproof?

No. It is a permeable nonwoven geotextile. The declared water permeability is 60 L/m².s.

Is nominal roll area the installed coverage?

No. Allow for overlaps, cuts and the shape of the area. The roll table gives the full roll area before those allowances.
