Lightpro Plug-In Garden Lighting Transformer 100W with Timer (UK Plug)

The 100W Touch transformer is the power supply at the head of a Lightpro 12V system, converting 230V mains down to 12V for the fittings. This is the BS version, fitted with a UK 3-pin plug, so it goes straight into a suitable weatherproof socket with no adaptor and no rewiring.

Touch buttons on the front set the mode. In automatic the built-in light sensor brings the scheme on as it gets dark, and the timer holds it there for a chosen period, adjustable in ten steps between one and ten hours. Rated IP44 with a 2 metre mains lead, and supplied with a mounting plate, screws and wall plugs.

System limits you must observe

• Maximum cable run is 80 metres from the transformer to the end of any one run. Beyond that, volt drop will dim or stop the lights, and the warranty no longer applies.
• Do not exceed the transformer’s stated maximum load. Lightpro transformers are already de-rated for LED, so the full stated wattage is usable.
• Use branch runs from the transformer rather than one long line to keep within the 80 metre limit.
