12V system component: this is part of the Lightpro 12V low-voltage system and is designed to be used only with Lightpro fittings, transformers, cable and connectors. The Lightpro transformer plugs into a standard outdoor socket and steps mains power down to a safe 12 volts, so there’s no electrician needed and the cable doesn’t need to be buried.
Warranty – complete Lightpro system required: Lightpro’s 6-year manufacturer’s warranty only applies when this product is installed as part of a complete Lightpro 12V system, meaning Lightpro fittings, a Lightpro transformer, Lightpro cable and Lightpro connectors used together. Connecting it to another brand’s transformer, cable or connectors voids the warranty. It must be installed as the product manual describes, and proof of purchase is required.
A 50 m coil covers most single-garden installs without a joint. Fittings connect at any point along the run using an F-connector, which means the cable can go in before the planting plan is final. 14AWG is the heavier gauge used for the main run from the transformer, not for short spurs.

System limits you must observe
- Maximum cable run is 80 metres from the transformer to the end of any one run. Beyond that, volt drop will dim or stop the lights, and the warranty no longer applies.
- Do not exceed the transformer’s stated maximum load. Lightpro transformers are already de-rated for LED, so the full stated wattage is usable.
- Use branch runs from the transformer rather than one long line to keep within the 80 metre limit.
