Designed for Car Parks & Access Roads

CORE Commercial grid has been specifically designed as a porous paving solution for high trafficked areas such as car parks and access roads. The reinforced HDPE cell walls are capable of taking all kinds of traffic and can support a 40 tonne vehicle.

*Point load of 850 tonne per m2 when stress tested.

CORE Commercial has been DIN14090 approved for fire service and emergency vehicle access routes.

Reduces Gravel Consumption

The CORE Commercial grid is designed as a level fill product. Therefore the gravel is being laid at a depth of just 30mm meaning you get a huge coverage of 24-25m2 per tonne of aggregate.

The 75mm wide cell can hold up to a 25mm gravel and works best with angular aggregate. Note that the smaller the aggregate the flatter it will lay in the grid, with this in mind, 6-12mm aggregate is the ideal size to use if your area is expecting wheelchair users.

Perforated Base for SUDS Compliant Build Ups

The perforated HDPE base provides maximum stability and weight distribution when using gravel as a bedding layer. It also allows the water to flow freely through the surface course and naturally infiltrate back into the substrate.

The optional moulded ground spikes improve the structural integrity when grit is used as a bedding layer which is typically required to achieve a truly SuDS compliant sub-base.

Plug-in Markers for Delineation

The CORE COMMERCIAL grid is available in both black and white with contrasting plug-in markers to create parking bays. This system will comply with current UK building regulations for commercial car parks.

They are easy to install and have been designed to withstand all types of traffic and weather conditions.

 

Unique ‘Quick-Lock’ Joining Mechanism

Our patented ‘quick-lock’ joining mechanism was developed to eliminate the risk of the panels separating after intense vehicle movement. This not only ensures the longevity of the product but it is vital for the integrity of the system as it helps to create a single matrix over the entire area.

We are often referred to as the ‘contractors choice’ of porous pavers when compared to other grids on the market… the ‘quick lock’ joining mechanism greatly reduces the installation time especially for large areas such as car parks and reduces the amount of bending over required when installing.
