CORE Landscape Products were honoured to be asked to sponsor The Young Horticulturist of the Year Competition 2022 by Kristopher Harper – Chair of the Eastern Region (Chartered Institute of Horticulture).

The competition is a fantastic opportunity for horticulturists to test their knowledge, whilst meeting with fellow horticulturists from all over the UK and Ireland – and is free to enter. It is open to anyone below the age of 30 on the 31st of July and has a prize fund of £8,000 and entrants can win prizes across round 1, the regional finals, and the grand final – where the ultimate winner receives a £2,500 travel bursary to fund horticultural related travel anywhere in the world.

The first recorded national final was held 22 years ago in 1990 at Writtle College in Essex – and CORE Landscape Products were honoured to be asked to sponsor such as prestigious industry competition. We cannot wait to meet the regional finalists this Saturday at Somerleyton Hall!
