PROJECT OVERVIEW

Stonewest’s conservation work at Corfe Castle required practical access across steep, sensitive grounds. CORE supplied 180m² of rubber grass-protection mats and 700 fixing pegs for the National Trust project.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Protect established grass during the works, provide grip underfoot and create an adaptable route suited to the castle’s steep, sensitive grounds.

THE SOLUTION

The interlocking mats help limit turf wear along working routes. Their open structure allows water to pass through and grass to grow, while the textured surface adds grip underfoot.

The system provides an adaptable route that can be lifted when no longer required, supporting the works without introducing permanent paving.
