CORE FasTrack Orange.

High-visibility woven separation and reinforcement geotextile

View technical specification
A bright orange woven geotextile roll representing CORE FasTrack Orange.

A separation layer you can identify.

A bright orange version of the FasTrack 609 woven geotextile, combining the same declared mechanical and hydraulic properties with a conspicuous buried separation layer.

Selected where a woven separation or reinforcement layer should remain visually obvious during future excavation or inspection.

  • Visible separation between dissimilar soil layers
  • Tensile contribution in suitable reinforcement applications
  • High-visibility buried layer for future works
  • Woven polypropylene construction
CBR puncture
1,500 N
Tensile strength MD / CMD

MD means machine direction, along the roll. CMD means cross-machine direction, across the roll. Values describe the material; they are not a vehicle load rating.

Where it works.

  • Contaminated / uncontaminated soil interfaces
  • Haul roads, hardstandings and compounds
  • Paved roads and granular construction layers
  • Projects requiring a conspicuous buried separator

Choosing for your project.

  • The orange colour provides visibility but does not make the product a detectable warning tape or service marker.
  • It is permeable and is not a certified contaminant-containment barrier.
  • The correct reinforcement product and design method remain project-specific.

Installation guidance.

Prepare the ground, maintain continuity and protect the material during construction. Follow the approved project detail for overlaps, cover and compaction.

Open the geosynthetics guide
  1. Prepare the groundRemove sharp obstructions and level deep ruts or voids so the fabric is supported.
  2. Lay and overlapRoll out to follow the ground contours without bridging hollows. Maintain the overlaps required by the project detail.
  3. Place the coverSpread the specified fill from the edge or an already covered area. Keep vehicles off exposed fabric.
  4. Inspect and protectCheck continuity and repair damage before covering. Cover promptly and follow the installation guide for the required cover and compaction.

Product questions.

Is FasTrack Orange technically different from FasTrack 609A?

The current manufacturer sheets publish the same mechanical and hydraulic values. The distinguishing feature is the bright orange colour and its high visibility as a buried layer.

Does the orange fabric replace warning tape?

No. It is a high-visibility geotextile, not a detectable warning tape, service marker or substitute for site-specific permit-to-dig controls.

Can it contain contaminated material?

It can provide a visible separation layer, but it is permeable and is not an impermeable containment barrier. Contaminated-land requirements need project-specific design and approval.

Is nominal roll area the installed coverage?

No. Allow for overlaps, cuts and the shape of the area. The roll table gives the full roll area before those allowances.
