12V Plug & Play System · 6-Year Warranty

12V system component: this is part of the Lightpro 12V low-voltage system and is designed to be used only with Lightpro fittings, transformers, cable and connectors. The Lightpro transformer plugs into a standard outdoor socket and steps mains power down to a safe 12 volts, so there’s no electrician needed and the cable doesn’t need to be buried.

Warranty – complete Lightpro system required: Lightpro’s 6-year manufacturer’s warranty only applies when this product is installed as part of a complete Lightpro 12V system, meaning Lightpro fittings, a Lightpro transformer, Lightpro cable and Lightpro connectors used together. Connecting it to another brand’s transformer, cable or connectors voids the warranty. It must be installed as the product manual describes, and proof of purchase is required.

Retrofits app control to lights that are not smart themselves. The switch goes into the 12 volt run between the transformer and the group you want to control, and from then on that group appears in the Lightpro app for on and off, timers and schedules. No fittings need changing and nothing about the existing wiring alters beyond adding the switch itself.

It connects over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, so no Zigbee gateway is needed for the switch itself. It draws 1 W from the 12 volt circuit and will switch up to 150 W downstream, so account for both when sizing the transformer; the transformer should have at least 5 W of spare capacity before one is added. Supplied with M- and F-connectors, a ground spike, a mounting plate and fixings.
