Core Deck Warranty

Subject to our full terms and conditions CORE Landscape Products offer a 15 year warranty on our classic composite decking boards against rotting, splintering, breakage, fungal decay and insect damage. The boards must be properly fitted following our installation guidelines using our recommended joist support spacing of 300mm centers, 7mm expansion gaps between adjoining ends and our own concealed stainless steel fixings, whilst receiving domestic footfall in a domestic setting.

In the event of our boards becoming faulty, we will first investigate to determine the cause of the problem and if the product is at fault we will either replace any faulty boards or refund a percentage of the original faulty item purchase price pro-rata to the remaining warranty period.

The chosen course of action will remain solely at the decision of the CORE LP. We will not accept any claim for consequential losses or recompense the customer for installation or repair costs.

To initiate a claim under this warranty, the Buyer shall send CORE Landscape Products a written description of the fault, proof of purchase and photographic evidence and make available any faulty items for collection.
We are not responsible for and do not give warranties for damage caused by:

• Any Act of God or adverse environmental event;
• Improper installation or failure to abide by the installation guidelines recommended by us;
• Variations or changes in the colour of the product from board to board at the time of purchase or over time once the product has been installed;
• Movement, distortion, settling or collapse of the ground or supporting structure upon which the decking is installed or;
• Faults due to improper handling or storage of the product; or
• Damage due to heat sources placed on or near the decking.

If there is any dispute over a claim, the opinion of an independent expert should be sought.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
